Against a backdrop of global anxiety and economic uncertainty, Grassroots International managed a year of modest growth in our programs and revenue. In the first year of our strategic plan, we met the goal for cash grants to our partners, surpassed the goal for material aid, and launched several exciting program initiatives. The strong commitment of our institutional and individual supporters, who increased their giving by ten percent over the previous year, made possible this increased activity. Grassroots International also managed to keep operating costs low, and we were able to devote 85% of our spending to program activities.Working, as always, without US government funding, we remain a bold voice for global justice.Your active support continues to make this work happen.
