Host an Event

Are you interested in an educational event that makes sense of the commonalities between the National Family Farm Coalition’s advocacy to reform the U.S. Farm Bill, repopulating Creole pigs in Haiti, settling landless families and building cisterns in Brazil’s arid northeast and creating urban gardens in the Gaza Strip? And how U.S. policies affect all of the above and issues of justice and human rights? We would love to come to your community to hold a conversation about Grassroots International’s work ensuring that land, water and food are basic human rights. Our educational style is distinctly grassroots. We count on people like you to help us organize provocative dialogues in your community–whether it be at your home, school, business or place of worship. Educational events are an excellent way to introduce new people to the effective, hopeful work of our partners and to widen the circle of Grassroots’ supporters. We can tailor a program appropriate for your audience that features life-changing community-led projects such as ensuring clean drinking water in remote, arid regions of Brazil.
